Examples of “PVA” systems include GFC’s Deluxe, Premium Level 1, Premium Level 2 and Ultra coating systems. These coating systems involve the application of a standard or moisture-mitigating primer coat followed by one or two color coats. Depending upon the coating system selected, polyvinyl acetate (PVA) chips are “broadcast” in varying densities of “medium spread” through “full chip” into the color coat and no clear coat (Deluxe), one clear coat (Premium Levels 1 and 2) or 2 clear coats (Ultra) are subsequently applied.
