Examples of PVA media systems include GFC’s Deluxe, Premium and Ultra chipped coating systems. These coating systems involve the application of a standard or moisture-mitigating primer coat followed by one or two color coats. Depending upon the coating system selected, polyvinyl acetate (PVA) media is “broadcast” in varying densities of “medium spread” through “full chip” into the color coat and no clear coat (Deluxe), one clear coat (Premium) or 2 clear coats (Ultra) are subsequently applied.
